rfg #56 - The sistership lands [84.3 Mb, 92:04]

March 8 is International Women's Day and the station encouraged all the programmers to come up with themes. In my case, I decided to focus on a few women who have done well in the electronic soundtrack realm: Delia Derbyshire and her work for the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, and then Wendy Carlos for her work on A Clockwork Orange and Tron.

Aside from that, it was a great deal of new and old pieces. In hindsight, I should have stuck with my gut instinct and played Nina Simone's take on Lilac Wine to close but I can keep that song on file for future use.
