rfg #79 - Thickest tea leaves [83.9 Mb]
Long gestating in my mind, the profile on Alejandro Jodorowsky and his 1973 film The Holy Mountain promised to be freakily diverse. I'm really digging the hazy ambient electronic music coming out from the south, which covers the first segment.

rfg #80 - Operation Kino [79.8 Mb]
Since it was John Tanner's final episode, I let him play a bit into my show. That, and some turntable wackiness meant I lopped off the somewhat clunky first bit, starting over again with the first song. I could've gone into an entire episode devoted to Quentin Tarantino, but since the man effectively brought the soundtrack album back some cachet in the nineties, most of his magpie acts are pretty well-known today. Still, he's got impeccable taste, so perhaps you could consider half this set to be part of a future soundtrack.
