The last show from September covered all manners of funk, spotlighting Curtis Mayfield's sublime soundtrack to the 1972 film Super Fly. It was hard to pick only a handful of cuts since the entire soundtrack oozes wonder; no surprise that the soundtrack outgrossed the film.
