rfg #88 - Partial carvings [83.1 Mb]
A mostly beat-heavy show here; I had been toting a pile of tropical and jazz songs for a while, so now was the time to deploy. The soundtrack profile is on Mike Rozakis' soundtrack She Knew No Other Way, something that involves Greek language experience to fully parse. The soundtrack itself is hit-or-miss, so I pulled the best cues. And I was joined by Suzette on the show, a new volunteer, who promises to be back on the air, hopefully with her own show if her demo pans out but as a guest on mine at the very least.

rfg #89 - Functioning automatic and dancing mechanic [92.1 Mb]
In honour of the twentieth anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall, this episode focuses purely on krautrock, or kosmische musik in German. Amongst all the glorious Kraftwerk and modern interpretations, Popul Vuh's score for Aguirre, the Wrath of God gets a quick profile. Callers asked for Guru Guru and Brainticket (along with one dude phoning for Norwegian metal), so there's potential for a follow-up episode one day.
